Eval / Prop-Firm Budget

Set what you're willing to spend on evaluations each month. Once this month's logged spend meets it, Firewall Check won't start a new check until next month — SIM only, no exceptions. Off by default; skip it and everything else works exactly the same.

Buying a fresh eval account often means unconsciously trading looser — a clean slate feels like less to lose than the account you've already put work into. A budget you can quietly raise on the one month you want to buy another eval isn't a budget — it only works if it doesn't bend.

No Broker Integration — Self-Logged, On Purpose

There's no payment feed to verify this automatically, so it works the same way the daily drawdown guardrail does: you log each eval purchase yourself. Same honor-system convention as everything else in LAYER 0 that isn't read from a broker directly — the value is in having the number in front of you, not in policing receipts.

Locked While You're Over Budget

Same principle as the Trading Window: a safety setting you can edit exactly when it would let you escape isn't a safety setting. While you're over this month's budget, the setting page won't let you raise it, and logged purchases can't be deleted — the one moment you'd be tempted to move the line is the one moment you can't.

Common Questions

Does this block a trade already in progress?

No. It only blocks starting a new Firewall Check once the budget is met — it draws the line at buying another eval, not at anything you're already trading.

What resets the budget?

The calendar month, based on your device's local time — same convention every date-based feature in LAYER 0 uses.
