Trading Window
Set a start and end time once, and Firewall Check refuses to start a new check outside it — no jumping in before you're actually ready, no “one more setup” after the close. Off by default; skip it and everything else works exactly the same.
A window you can quietly stretch on the one day you want to keep going isn't a boundary — it's a suggestion with extra steps. It only holds if it doesn't bend.
Locked While You're Outside It
Same principle as the Post-Loss Lockout: a safety setting you can edit exactly when it would let you escape isn't a safety setting. If you're currently outside your own window, the settings page won't let you change it until you're back inside — the one moment you'd be tempted to move the line is the one moment you can't.
Common Questions
Can I set only a start time, or only an end time?
No — it's both or neither. A one-sided boundary just becomes “trade whenever, but stop eventually,” which isn't a real limit.
What happens if I'm already in a trade when the window ends?
Nothing to that trade. The window only blocks starting a new Firewall Check — it draws the line at when you're allowed to go looking for a new setup, not at closing a position already open.
