Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using LAYER 0 (the app at app.layer0firewall.com, this website, or the standalone PDF product), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, don't use the product.

2. What LAYER 0 is — and isn't

LAYER 0 is a pre-trade discipline and journaling tool. It is not financial, investment, trading, or legal advice, and it does not recommend, endorse, or execute any trade, strategy, entry, or exit. Nothing in the app, the PDF, or this site should be construed as a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any financial instrument. You are solely responsible for your own trading decisions and their outcomes.

3. Accounts

You're responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and be legally able to enter into this agreement.

4. Subscription, billing & free trial

• The app is offered on a Monthly ($9.99/mo) or Annual ($99/yr) subscription, billed via Stripe.
• New subscriptions include a 7-day free trial. If you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be charged. If you do not cancel, your card will be charged automatically at the end of the trial and at each renewal period.
• You can cancel anytime from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• The standalone Core Manual PDF ($27) is a one-time purchase processed via Gumroad and is not a subscription.
• Refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact us at the email below.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service — including attempting to access another user's account or data, reverse-engineering the app, or using it for any unlawful purpose.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will prevent any specific trading loss or behavior.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LAYER 0 and its founder shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including trading losses, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the service.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the business operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
